Carlo Brooks is an experienced civil litigator who represents individuals and businesses in complex state and federal matters. His practice encompasses employment and wage-and-hour disputes, class and representative actions, consumer and business litigation, insurance bad faith, professional liability, personal injury, civil rights, administrative challenges, and appeals.
A formidable law-and-motion advocate, Mr. Brooks has represented both plaintiffs and defendants and secured results through summary judgment, enforcement of settlement releases, exclusion of improper expert and damages evidence, discovery sanctions, negotiated resolutions, and appellate relief. He has also led litigation teams and developed strategy in high-exposure cases from inception through trial and appeal.
Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Brooks led large-scale data, search, and information-governance operations for companies including AT&T and FandangoNOW. That experience gives him a distinctive advantage in matters involving digital evidence, privacy, electronic communications, and technology-intensive discovery. Recognized by Southern California Super Lawyers from 2019 through 2026, Mr. Brooks has also published legal scholarship in English and French.
